Let’s take for example, a child who has to be to school at eight o’clock in the morning. You go to his room and wake him up at seven. Then you go back a couple of minutes later and wake him up again, and then again, and again.
You do whatever you can to get him out of bed. You may even have to drag him out of bed. Now your teen may curse at you, or maybe he does not even curse, but you just cannot get him out of bed."""

Klout is bad for your soul - Klout - Salon.com: " checking your Klout, you likely saw a change in your score last month. If you had Klout anywhere above, oh, 55 or so, you may have seen a drop. The system ranks out of an ostensible 100, but it grades on what my undergraduate professors affectionately called “the British system”: Basically, nobody except a superstar gets higher than 75. Justin Bieber, King of Klout, hovers close to 100. Ellen DeGeneres, that teacher’s pet, has an 87. Poor Jon Stewart only scores 73.

Penn State's insufficient action amid child sex allegations stunning - College Football - Yahoo! Canada Sports: "Sandusky had retired from the Penn State program in 1999, a surprise to many who saw him as a possible successor to Paterno. He instead dedicated himself to “Second Mile,” a group home he founded in 1977 dedicated to helping troubled boys. He often brought troubled kids through the Penn State facilities, including the famed Beaver Stadium, bought them gifts and took them to sporting events.
Curley did not notify university police or have the graduate assistant further questioned involving the incident. No other legal or university entity investigated the case.
Merely alerting police would’ve been significant since they investigated Sandusky in 1998 for “incidents with children in football building showers.” Curley never asked for a background check on Sandusky."

My passion for business began when I was 4 years old and would walk with my father into Westwood Village to see a movie and pass by empty office buildings. I’d share with him the businesses I would start to fill those vacant offices from cartoon companies to movie reviewers to parent child relationship centers. Yes, I can’t believe these thoughts crossed my mind so young either, but I am grateful they did.
Before my teens I hung out on Prodigy in my father’s home office. My parents couldn’t part me from the PC green neon display so they made up “office police” who would arrest daddies who let their kids hang out too long. Ha! It didn’t work. Tzom Gedaliah | | Orthodox Union
Tzom Gedaliah | | Orthodox Union: "The King of Ammon however - hostile and envious of the Judean remnant sent a loyal Jew, Yishmael Ben Netaniah, to assassinate Gedaliah. In the seventh month (Tishrei) Yishmael came to Gedaliah in the town of Mitzpa, and was received cordially. Gedaliah had been warned of his guest's murderous intent, but refused to believe his informants in the belief that their report was mere slander. Yishmael murdered Gedaliah, together with most of the Jews who had joined him and numbers of Babylonians whom the Babylonian King had left with Gedaliah. The remaining Jews feared the vengeance of the Babylonian King and fled to Egypt.
The surviving remnant of Jews was thus dispersed and the land remained desolate. In remembrance of these tribulations, our Sages instituted the 'Fast of the Seventh' on the day of Gedaliah's assassination in the seventh month."

Rabbi Buchwald's Weekly Torah Message
Rabbi Buchwald's Weekly Torah Message: "introduced a most profound principle. It is not fear that stimulates praying harder and results in being exonerated by the Great Judge. Some pious Jews enter Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur fully confident that they will be exonerated. Although they experience no fear, they are forgiven because of their piety. But those who approach the High Holidays in fear, will merit an even more profound exoneration and a greater sense of intimacy with the Al-mighty.
Rabbi Pincus offers the following cogent parable: A child and his father walk together in the crowded city, deeply engrossed in conversation. Suddenly the child vanishes. Perhaps he’s been kidnaped, perhaps he has lost his way. The longer the absence, the greater the fear. But suddenly, the father is informed that his child has been found. He rushes to the lad. The child, who sees his father coming toward him, runs and hugs him mightily."

However, the exact path which evolution took on earth, and the final outcome we see today, were entirely ordained by G-d, since every event which appears to be ‘chance’ to us is actually determined by G-d.

Gematriot - Revealing Torah Secrets: " This is especially so with this Erev Rosh Chodesh Elul, as the month of Elul itself is a month that we prepare ourselves spiritually, improving ourselves by making sure we do all the Mitzvot/commandments that we are supposed to observe and behaving better in our characteristic traits, before the High Holidays when we are annually judged by Hashem.
Historically, today's date of 29 Av was the day in between Moses' second 40 day period on Mt. Sinai asking Hashem for forgiveness for the Jews' participation in the worship of the Golden Calf and the third 40 day period on Mt. Sinai when Hashem rewrote the Ten Commandments on the tablets that Moses brought up with him, culminating with Yom Kippur when Hashem announced his formal forgiveness for the Jews. Similarly, today is a time to reflect on our past which may include sins and telling Hashem that we are sorry, and thinking of our future working on concrete steps to help prevent spiritual mishaps from reoccurring and finding ways to improve our lives spiritually, showing that while we may have failings here and there, in essence, we "

Hurricane Irene and My Need for Control
Hurricane Irene and My Need for Control: "We are not in control.
But after the initial discomfort of that reality set in, I had another feeling.
I realized that, in fact, I was in control. Not of traffic, the future of my children, the financial markets or the environment, but I was in control of myself.
I was in control over how I responded to challenge. Would I be stressed or show strength? Would I spend the time doing something meaningful? Would I get frustrated and angry at the loss of property or convenience or would I be satisfied with what I had? Would I start to appreciate the “little” things like electricity and dry roads?

How Irene Lived Up to the Hype - NYTimes.com: "o hurricanes receive too much media coverage? Are they more or less newsworthy than airplane crashes? The avian flu? The iPhone 5? Shark attacks? The Dominique Strauss-Kahn case? The Libyan civil war? The royal wedding? Global warming? Anthony Weiner? The Dallas Cowboys?
I don’t know. What’s easier to evaluate is how much coverage Hurricane Irene received in comparison with other hurricanes. By that standard, the coverage was quite proportionate to the amount of death and destruction that the storm caused."

Foundation Stone - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Foundation Stone - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia: "if the Southern Wall of the Temple Mount is in fact the one which existed when the Temple was standing, the measurements given in the Talmud do not reconcile.[6] The Holy of Holies ends up being too far north and they therefore locate the Foundation Stone as being directly opposite the current exposed section of the Western Wall, where no building currently stands. This is the view of the Arizal[7] and the Maharsha,[8] who state the prophesy that “Zion will become a ploughed field” indicates that no dwelling will be established there until the time of the redemption."

Foundation Stone - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia: "Rabbi Obadiah ben Abraham who wrote a letter from Jerusalem in 1488 says that “I sought the place of the Foundation Stone where the Ark of the Covenant was placed, and many people told me it is under a tall and beautiful dome which the Arabs built in the Temple precinct'.[5]
Others disagree, citing that if the Southern Wall of the Temple Mount is in fact the one which existed when the Temple was standing, the measurements given in the Talmud do not reconcile.[6]"

FrumFind.org: "Perhaps the most unkind thing that one fellow Jew can do to his brother, be they fallen or elevated, on the straight path or a an endlessly winding path is simply to disregard that other person. If you are Jewish and care about doing the right thing, or accomplishing a goal, dream or vision, if you follow the path of our Torah, or perhaps have not even yet chosen this lifestyle for yourself, yet you have an interest, then perhaps you should take a moment, complete the signup, and join this “eGroupWeb.com” the place to stay in touch, and simply see where it takes you."

Arizal.org: "Though he initially may have pursued a career in business, he soon turned to asceticism and mysticism. About the age of twenty-two, he became engrossed in the study of the Zohar, a major work of the Kabbalah that had recently been printed for the first time, and he adopted the life of a recluse. He retreated to the banks of the Nile, and for seven years secluded himself in an isolated cottage, giving himself up entirely to meditation. He visited his family only on the Shabbat, speaking very seldom, and always in Hebrew."

Jews For Jesus Founder Debates Rabbi Tovia Singer
Jews For Jesus Founder Debates Rabbi Tovia Singer: "hen Jesus came and he was very meek and he talked about loving your enemy and turning your cheek, they said “No, no, no, no, this is not the Messiah we were looking for” and they missed the boat. That’s all there is to it. The poor Jews, they missed the boat. Jump on the Jesus train they didn’t. Rabbi who I have great respect for explained “Well, it’s not quite like that. According to the Torah, according to us the Jews, the Messiah was never supposed to be the son of God."

TheWritersCafe.org - Where Writers Can Share Their Ideas.: "One possible source of problems that today’s frum Yidden (Jews) face with the entire rest of the world has to do with one of the essential yet highly misunderstood Mitzvot (commandments) to live in the world yet to be “apart” as in not mixing and remaining pure, or holy"

Malchut, the Tenth Sefirot-April 8, 2010 « FrumFind.org
Malchut, the Tenth Sefirot-April 8, 2010 « FrumFind.org: "It has been explained that the lowest of the souls must fall to their appointed vessels before the highest of souls can be drawn from Shemayim (the spiritual world). This in effect creates the sort of vacuum which may be necessary to draw down the highest level of souls which may be understandably reluctant to come down to this limited and finite world. This is an idea which I have learned which explains that this is an instance where the exalted, must wait for the lowly,in order to achieve their final descent from the supernal world to this finite world or ends or action.

Can Money Be Made Via The Internet Google Ads?
Can Money Be Made Via The Internet Google Ads?- By Aharon Moshe (Stephen) Sanders, June 21, 2011.
At this juncture where these BlogSpots posts of mine turn on a subtle pivot (more like a tropism than anything else) I am redirecting my attention to the area of applied philosophy. In other words philosophy as a theory and area of study is great, yet is it really meant to have practical applications?
Well here is what I have to share with the small world of my BlogSpot followers:

Carlo Suares: Revived Qabala Lexicon: Adam Kadmon / Adam Qadmon: Primordial Man: "'Adam' is Aleph immersed in blood, but this blood is not 'all-absorbing'; it can become 'cosmically fruitful', which means that the human body can come to radiate cosmic energy. The schema for man (Adam) is Aleph (1), Dallet (4), Mem (40 or 600). The fact that Mem final can be 40 (i.e. resistance) and can leap to 600 (cosmic fertility)"
