How to Transform an SEO Trainee into an SEO Expert – A Basic Guide | W3blog.dk - Blogengine.net and Wordpress themes: "There are three basic types of SEO guys …
The Creative SEO:  The creative one needs to be good at link baits. He has got to have a knack of social media and viral marketing. Creative SEO is probably the most valuable asset for an SEO team because these days SEO requires more and more “out of the box” thinking.

The Link Building SEO: As the name suggests, you have got to train them on certain tools and software programs that they can use for link building, while also honing their research and communication skills.""

Gathering of the Mentor Minds - Google Open Source Blog

Gathering of the Mentor Minds - Google Open Source Blog: "Friday Night Meet and Greet
Mentors began arriving on Friday and in the early evening attended a meet-and-greet party by the hotel pool, where old friendships were renewed and new ones were formed.
Large quantities of Thai food and refreshing beverages were consumed by mentors amid sounds of laughter and some decidedly technical conversations.
Mentors turned in relatively early, as two very full days of excitement lay ahead, and considering the distances many had travelled to attend, sleep was very welcome"

Klout is bad for your soul - Klout - Salon.com

Klout is bad for your soul - Klout - Salon.com: " checking your Klout, you likely saw a change in your score last month. If you had Klout anywhere above, oh, 55 or so, you may have seen a drop. The system ranks out of an ostensible 100, but it grades on what my undergraduate professors affectionately called “the British system”: Basically, nobody except a superstar gets higher than 75. Justin Bieber, King of Klout, hovers close to 100. Ellen DeGeneres, that teacher’s pet, has an 87. Poor Jon Stewart only scores 73.

Klout is bad for your soul - Klout - Salon.com: "You may not have heard of Klout — not yet.

But that doesn’t matter. If you’re on Twitter, or even Facebook, Klout has heard of you. And Klout has ranked you, with a single tidy number meant to sum up your influence and engagement in the social media sphere. Klout.com is a social media analytics company based in San Francisco. Three years ago, it began ranking Twitter users according to the splash their links and witty repartee made among their followers. Since then, it’s grown to include activity across social media platforms, and has established itself as a major arbiter of influence in social media circles. Klout, in effect, has clout."

Penn State's insufficient action amid child sex allegations stunning - College Football - Yahoo! Canada Sports

Penn State's insufficient action amid child sex allegations stunning - College Football - Yahoo! Canada Sports: "Sandusky had retired from the Penn State program in 1999, a surprise to many who saw him as a possible successor to Paterno. He instead dedicated himself to “Second Mile,” a group home he founded in 1977 dedicated to helping troubled boys. He often brought troubled kids through the Penn State facilities, including the famed Beaver Stadium, bought them gifts and took them to sporting events.

Curley did not notify university police or have the graduate assistant further questioned involving the incident. No other legal or university entity investigated the case.

Merely alerting police would’ve been significant since they investigated Sandusky in 1998 for “incidents with children in football building showers.” Curley never asked for a background check on Sandusky."
